Afraid of the MOON

I'm already a secondary school graduate and in a few more months, I would be in my tertiary education. Why my parents, especially my father, still treat me like a little boy. I know that I shouldn't be comparing with others and I know that this would continue for a long long time.

After my night tuition, I met up with my friends for some chatting at the neighborhood. Didn't want to go home that early as I prefer the company of my friends (for that night). I did my part on messaging back home to inform them that I would be back home later at about 11pm and my mum replied "OK". The thing that made me felt terrible was when I reached home. My dad face was painted "black". "That stupid face again" was the first thing I can think of.

He complained that I kept going out and whatsoever. Whenever I gave in, he would expect more. This is totally "ridiculous"...

... and plus, I didn't stay till midnight (I was home at 11pm) that often.

+~*This my father*~+Isn't he cute?

With One Down

Finally, more or less it's over. :D Now that I had a lesser burden, my mood would believe to improve. My mood, for the past few days, had been rather unstable. Perhaps I'm worried... :( Worried about choosing the wrong choice that I would regret the next time. My dad ever told me to choose something that would provide a more promising future, but such courses would seriously clashed on my interests. But there's so many things that we can't predict and the future is also not for us to see.

Step by step towards making my mark! (A combination of my primary and secondary school motto)

Ironing it straight

After "ironing" my thoughts straight, I decided not to be disappointed and jealous anymore. Anyway, this is not the first time I'm experiencing it... PSLE was the first encounter...

Many should be wondering what to put into the 12 options and some might be even pulling their hand over it. But no matter what, the 12 choices have to be considered by yourself carefully or you might learn to regret it. For me, I'm rather clear on what I should choose. Perhaps I got the opportunities to explore my interest, especially during my CCA times.

Here's a rough sketch on the courses I'm choosing:
  1. N55 Multimedia & Animation (16)
  2. C84 Digital Media Design (18)
  3. S57 Digital Media (17)
  4. R31 Interactive & Digital Media (25)
  5. C75 Multimedia & Infocomm Technology (22)
  6. N76 Audio-visual Technology (15)
  7. R36 Design for Interactivity (25)
  8. C66 Motion Graphics & Broadcast Design (18)
  9. C70 Digital Entertainment Technology (18)
  10. R24 Sonic Art (25)
  11. N54 Information Technology (20)
  12. R21 Information Technology (26)
More Information:
  • L1R4:
    • Original: 16
    • After deducting CCA points: 14

BullShit 16

Nothing can explain how I feel... Not even myself!

24 January 2008

There goes nothing...

Hello everybody, how are you doing these few days? Great I hope. ;)

Today I would be extremely nervous as I'm going to collect my results for O Level, but the problem is that I'm not that nervous now... Just freaky nervous only...

Good luck to those that would be having their results today and of course good luck to me. Anyway, luck plays a little in determining the results. It's majority goes to the efforts placed before taking the O Level. All we can do now is to wait and hope for the best!

Where's the hump?

Let me do some explanation on the title of this post. The "hump" that I'm talking about is the excitement, somehow I felt that I run a stable life with little ups and downs. Kinda bored by it :( and the best way to get out of it is to accompany my dear.

Woke up kinda late today... at about 9am. Coincidently as I looked at my phone for any missed call/msg, my dear msg me. Therefore, we decided to go for breakfast.

Today morning was a little different and perhaps better as we spent more time together. First, we went to Woodlands Center after breakfast as I wanted to take a look at the Skinny Jean (SK). Purchased a black one at $20. We took a scroll around the place after I had bought my SK until around 11.30am. I suggested MacDonald...

At MacDonald, I saw my former Secondary schoolmate. I strongly believe that they had skipped class as it's 11.37am then. But it's their choice anyway... Saw a salon, that's opposite of MacDonald, and suddenly remember about my dad threat. Not a threat actually... He only asked me to cut my hair with a stern face. Didn't want to but still got it done.

I'm currently slacking... NO! Some morons My mother's students came to disturb my peace... Shit them!

!!!BIG NEWS!!!

NP Open House

Went to NP (Ngee Ann Polytechnic) open house yesterday with a group of friends. We met up at around 11.45am for lunch and soon, we left Marsiling to head off to NP.

Fortunately there was a shuttle bus arranged by NP :D or else we had to spend more money on the transport. Do you know that students who are currently waiting for your O Level result had to start paying adult fares for transport since 15 January. That will drill a bigger hole in my pocket. :(

The open house was quite similar to the last year one except that they gave more edible things this time round. Love the donuts they gave. * yummy* :P

The Eating Test

You are generally a calm person. You get excited when your favorite band is in town, when you are going on a date with your partner or when you and your friends are dancing. Your friends mean everything to you. You hate it when the summer is over.

You like art, and some poetry. You can throw a party, or help a friend put one together. You usually have no trouble finding dates, but you occasionally hit a dry spell. You like the outdoors, usually, and rainy weather doesn't bother you. You sometimes get jealous of people who are smarter or better looking than you, but you wouldn't hold it against them if you got to know them. You are on good terms with your parents, even though they annoy you once in a while. People tend to think you are reliable and trustworthy. You like animals.

My Working Style

You are extremely dependable and devotedly accept responsibilities beyond the call of duty. You have a complete, realistic, and practical respect for the facts. When you see from the facts that something needs to be done, you pause to think about it. If you decide that action will be helpful, you accept the responsibility. You can remember and use any number of facts, but want them all accurate. You like everything clearly stated.

Your private reactions, which seldom show in your face, are often vivid and intense. Even when dealing with a crisis you look calm and composed. Behind your outer calm you are viewing the situation from an intensely individual angle, often a delightfully humorous one. When you are "on duty" and dealing with the world, however, your behavior is sound and sensible.

You are thorough, painstaking, hard-working, and patient with particulars and procedures. You can do the "little" things that need to be done to carry a project to completion. Your perseverance tends to stabilize everything with which you are connected. You do not enter into things impulsively, but once in, you are very hard to distract or discourage. You do not quit unless experience convinces you that you are wrong.

You often choose careers where you can combine your careful observation and your caring for people, as in the health professions. Other fields attractive to you are teaching, office work, and occupations that provide services or personal care. You show your feeling preference in your contacts with the world. You are kind, sympathetic, tactful, and genuinely concerned; traits that make you very supportive to persons in need.

Because of your concern for accuracy and organization, you often move into supervisory roles. If you are in charge of something, your practical judgment and appreciation of what works make you conservative and consistent. You take care to collect the facts necessary to support your evaluations and decisions. A you gain experience, you compare the present problem to past situations.

For you, problems may be arise if your judgment is not developed. If your feeling preference remains undeveloped, you will not be effective in dealing with the world. You may instead retreat, becoming silently absorbed in your inner reactions to sense-impressions. Then nothing of value is likely to come out. Another potential problem is that you tend to be somewhat suspicious of imagination and intuition and not take it seriously enough.

Get to know myself better!

Your view on yourself:

Other people find you very interesting, but you are really hiding your true self. Your friends love you because you are a good listener. They'll probably still love you if you learn to be yourself with them.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:

You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:

You prefer to get to know a person very well before deciding whether you will commit to the relationship.

The seriousness of your love:

Your have very sensible tactics when approaching the opposite sex. In many ways people find your straightforwardness attractive, so you will find yourself with plenty of dates.

Your views on education

You may not like to study but you have many practical ideas. You listen to your own instincts and tend to follow your heart, so you will probably end up with an unusual job.

The right job for you:

You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.

How do you view success:

Success in your career is not the most important thing in life. You are content with what you have and think that being with someone you love is more than spending all of your precious time just working.

What are you most afraid of:

You are concerned about your image and the way others see you. This means that you try very hard to be accepted by other people. It's time for you to believe in who you are, not what you wear.

Who is your true self:

You are full of energy and confidence. You are unpredictable, with moods changing as quickly as an ocean. You might occasionally be calm and still, but never for long.

This mine, want yours? Then click here!

Back home

It had been so long since I last posted, hope that no one miss me. *haha* Anyway, I had been rather occupied this few days and therefore, I didn't have the time for posting.

What am I so busy about?

This few days, I had been either going out with friends, going for classes, playing PSP or sleeping. Sounds like a typical teenager... Typical Slacking Teenager.

Went to Google not too long ago to find what others had to say about the GCE 'O' Level result released date and I found one useful information. Cambridge would be releasing the results to staff at Cambridge Centres on Monday 21 January. Therefore, you cannot except to get the results on the the day itself, yet alone before 21st January, as M.O.E. would need time to collaborate and do all the adjustment. But I do wish that the result would be released asap (as soon as possible).

Lastly, to those that's waiting patiently/impatiently for the results, I wished you all the best!

At Places

After my having steamboat with my family, I went out with a group of friends that include my dear, Moon and Andy. I met up with my dear and moon first and went to AMK Hub to do some shopping. Unfortunately, there wasn't any compatible with me... Or is it that I'm not trying hard enough? I was kinda interested in a white uniform liked shirt but it's not suitable for me. Couldn't take black as Andy bought the black one already.

Therefore, I only bought a bottle of 7-UP at there.

We went to Bugis Street after that. Bugis street was filled with people. That was the most crowded and busy day for Bugis Street. Squeezing through crowds like that was terrible. Thanks Goodness that the second level of the Bugis Street was less crowded. It's then, I started purchasing my clothe. It's intend for Chinese New Year... But I bought black and dull colors.
Anyway, who say that CNY can't wear black!
Total cost of purchase: $89.90

>Since the crowd below had not subside, my dear suggested to go to Far East Plaza (@ Orchard Road) instead. The journey to Orchard was terrible... The train was fully packed with people too! I was like sardine being canned in a can...

Far East Plaza was... different from Bugis Street... In terms of crowd.

L; Change The World

If I'm not wrong, "L: Change The World" would be showing about him in his last 23 days. Remember? In Death Note 2, L wrote his own name on the Death Note to solve the KIRA Crime?

After watching the trailer, it's most likely that it's showing about the battle against time whereby he left with 23 more days.

Although the trailer cleared some doubts but many info is still left hanging about. The best thing is to watch and understand.

Official Released Date: Not Confirm

Back to update

How's life recently? Great I guess.

Anyway, life for me have been improving. Occasionally, I would go out with friends to have fun and on two days, I would be doing some serious work. Therefore, considering a balance.

Two days before, I went to Orchard with my dear and Andy as my dear wanted to get her contact lenses. After that, we went to AMK Hub to catch a show. Redline is an interesting show, I rate it 4.5/5. Go watch it if you like car racing, even a car racing noob like me love that movie.

Yesterday, had breakfast with Andy. At least the day didn't start of so boring. Played with him "Monster Hunter Freedom 2" until my battery flat. I was in the mid of the quest then, don't know what the hell I'm talking? DOn't worry, it's all about the game.

In the afternoon of that day, I went to CWP with my dear and her friends. Left the place earlier with my dear as she had to trim her hair and I had to dye my hair. The dyeing process sure took a hell long time. *Now my hair is brighter and ready for Chinese New Year*

Currently, downloading a game called "Jackass: The Game". Looks interesting!

9 January 2008

How was it?

How's life for everyone? For me, I'm perfectly fine. The things I'm doing now would be going out with friends, teaching, using the computer and playing on my PSP.

About the PSP, I got it 2 days ago. It's second hand at the price of $250, condition so-so only. But the most important thing is that it can entertain me. Currently download NBA Street Basketball. Quite an old game... Came out on 2005.

I would be meeting my dear and Andy for some unseen activities. I said it was unseen because I wasn't sure of the activities. The only thing clear is that my dear would be getting her contact lenses.

Due to the fact that I'm downloading huge file from the net, my internet connection become damn laggy. Will update more later!

8 January 2008

Like it the old way

Went to a forum regarding PSP and found out that most PSP gamer would still prefer the old PSP compared to the slim ones. Wanna know more? Click on my post title to view the forum.

Returning to the start

Nothing better to do with the 1 hour of computer. Therefore, I returned to the first few posts of my blog. This blog was started in the late March of 2007. If I'm not wrong, this would be the 3rd blog and the blog with the longest "lifespan". My first few posts were sorta depressed, this made me remember things I had done in the past. Looking through them, I could hardly remember that I wrote all that. Perhaps my thinkings had grown and the way of expressing myself had changed.

At the start of the year, I got a group of closer friends containing of JJ, ZZ and me. At the end of the year, it's almost a different formation. Well, they're pros and cons on the changed in the friends formation. Wouldn't wanna think of it anymore, nothing would change anything.

I was a Woodlands BOY at the start of the year and now, I had explored most of Singapore (as in the more popular ones).

Enough of history talking. I remember my history lessons were extremely boring. Therefore, I wouldn't want to bored you out.

That's all about "Returning to the start".

Frustrated Puzzle

Went to Lot 1 yesterday with
my dear and Andy.

Boredom soon filled us
as we entered the shopping mall.
Lot 1 is simply too small,
and many would agree too.

Since we're there,
we had some window shopping.

As usual,
my dear and Andy
were busy targeting at pretty girls.
For me,
I just hear what they saying.
I did some sightseeing too,
but minimum when compared with them.

I bought myself a jigsaw puzzle and a frame for it.
(I gotta admit that it's purely impulse buying)

Went to my second home (CWP)
as there's enough time.
And partly because I needed to get
the glue for sticking the puzzle to the frame.

Had my dinner at blk 166,
a very rush one indeed
as I had a class in the night.

Ate my meal and packet my parents food
and I bid good-bye to them.

Back at home,
not a moment of rest before the tuition started.
The good thing was that my student didn't make things worse.

After tutoring,
I started arranging my jigsaw puzzle.
By 11PMm,
I got 60% of it up.

Woke up kinda late today
but I can still find time for puzzling.
In the end,
I was late.

Thank Goodness that
they thought I lost my way
and resulting in the late.

Since they suggest that,
I would accept it "humbly".

Tuition soon passed
and I back home with more puzzling.

Completed everything before 1.
After lunch,
I was already sticking it to the cardboard.

Spent quite some time and my patient's
running low.

I found out that there isn't enough space for certain pieces
to fit it.
This happened many times
and I got fared up.
Resulting me in punching the entire workpiece.

Wonder why I got so work out
because of some puzzle.

I called for my dear for aid.
This was the first time she's at my house.

I took her around my house
and soon we were glued to the puzzle again.

Although we didn't complete it,
I felt so much better with her around.

We went to SunPlaza after that
as my dear wants to look for a job.
At Cavana,
we saw Hui Jun and we started to chat a little.

My dear and I also had dinner at Canava too,
but that's later in the day.

*Cavana's lights are sure beautiful*
Currently,
I had just returned for my tuition.

Lastly,
I believe this would be the last time for me
to buy a jigsaw puzzle.

Puzzled

How have everyone been?
Great, I hope so.

AS everyone was
released from school yesterday,
I went over to the bank to do some depositing.

Looking at the sum of money that
slowly piled up.

Now,
I'm much reluctant to spend them.

Why must I be so money tight?

Anyway,
no point complaining as it wouldn't change anything.

This week of tuitions
were in a total mess.

Some changes the date,
some wants me to go their house instead
and some call off the day tuition.

What's the major problem with them!?

Since they're my "customers"
I wouldn't wanna to say
any worse things about them.

---Back to my day---

I reached the depositing machine
to see a line of people behind it.

I had completely forgotten
that it's the start of the month
and most people would get their pay.

Waited for about 20 minutes
before my turn.
I bet I was one of the fast to complete
the depositing.
Can't blame the old.

After depositing my cash,
I went to my dear house to do
some puzzle.

At first,
my progress wasn't that great.
From then till dinner,
we managed to complete the
500 pieces of puzzle.

It's a good bonding experience.

---To My Blog---

An added function:
Now you can rate my post.
You can rate at the end of any post
from now onwards.

A removed function "Get linked yourself":
Reason is simply because
nobody is following the rules I stated.

Second Page

It's the second day of the new year.
I believe that today would be the terror for
most primary and secondary students in Singapore
as they would have to return to school again.

For me,
I'm sitting at home patiently
waiting for my result.
haha *tongue stick out*

Anyway,
I started the day by eating
breakfast with my dear
at the nearby hawker center.
We chat a little after we had our breakfast
and I had to rush home
as my mum is waiting for
her breakfast.

There wasn't a single soul in the house
when I reached home.

Mum soon reached home
and she started complaining
about me bringing the
breakfast late.

Count herself lucky
as I was in a good mood then.

Before typing this post,
I helped Andy to make
a 3 column blog
using the original 2 column template.

After completing it,
I found out that there's
available 3 column template.

Wasted my time...

But nevertheless
I completed my promise.

That's all for this morning...
See ya!

ViTiR Ground introducing you to Microsoft Zune (80GB). This would be the first product to be featured in the year of 2008.

Here's the pros and cons of this electronic gadget:

Pros: 3.2-inch glass LCD; user-friendly interface; exceptional navigation control; audio and video podcast support; superlative FM radio with RBDS information; wireless syncing and sharing; high-quality earphones; revamped Zune Marketplace PC software; Zune Pass subscription music support; good audio quality; built-in composite-video output.
