I got enough of listening to my parents every time. This time, I'm going to pierce my left ear. Anyway, it's my dad that broke his promise. During the mid of this year, he told me that I can pierce my ear after my O level exams. And guess what when I told him that I might wanna pierce my ear (that's after O levels already), he gave me a big fat NO as a reply. Therefore, no longer bothering about their thoughts or what-so-ever. I'm making this decision this time round.
Have you watched "I'm not stupid too" (A Jack Neo Production)? In the mid of the movie, there's a fat lady that say this "Control a kid is just like flying a kite. If you didn't put much control, it would fly away. If you control too tightly, the string connecting to the kite would snap.".
Of course, she didn't say it in English.
